Hi

Can you explain paragraph 4.1.4 ?

In the client of the room, you can configure ANY five values of the buttons on the postflop in % of the pot. For example, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% and 80%. What's the difference if the hotkey clicks on the "70%" button (acceptable functionality) and enters a value (70% of the pot) into the betbox of the table (prohibited functionality)?

Hello, 4.1.4 is currently under the acceptable tools section (Subject to change).

4.1.4 "Hotkey tools that enhance or abbreviate your actions through specific keyboard commands. Mathematical or arithmetical calculations of any sort must not be involved at the time when executing any hotkey action"

Yet, keep in mind that WPN does not endorse nor support the use of any 3rd party tool. As well WPN has plans to released improvements regarding our own hotkeys early next year viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24, meaning that any external HotKeys tool might not be longer tolerated.

Hi

Can you explain paragraph 4.1.3 ?

"Hand trackers and Heads Up Display (HUD) type tools that gather and display numeric-based stats. The stats displayed must be based solely on your own hand history collected through the games you have personally participated in, and such displays must not include information from a current hand in play."

Question:

1) HUD with information about the player's position (BB, SB, Dealer, etc., some of which are shown by the client of the room) at the start of the hand
2) HUD with information about the player's actions (Fold, Call, Raise, etc., which is shown by the client of the room in the current hand)

Are they a numeric-bused stats?

Hi,

Every tool out there provides an advantage to the player, the challenge is to deem such advantage as fair or unfair, meaning that will impact the decision-making process of the "hand in play".

As far as we know, "Position" is a key element of every player's strategy therefore every player must make their own observations and evaluation of the hand in play including the position they as well their opponents are at any given spot. Although it might debatable, so far we do consider any sort of advice or observation from the "hand in play" as "UNFAIR" and HUDs must refrain from collecting it and display it.

As per the player`s previous actions, once again users must make their own observations and evaluations of the hand in play, having a HUD collecting such observations for the end-user reduce the player input during the decision making and provides them with an UNFAIR advantage.

In general terms, any tool that collects data from the "hand in play" is deemed as UNFAIR.

4.1.3 Hand trackers and Heads Up Display (HUD) type tools that gather and display numeric-based stats. The stats displayed must be based solely on your own hand history collected through the games you have personally participated in, and such displays must not include information from a current hand in play.

9 Policies enforcement:
9.0 User/You are required to ensure that any action and decision-making must be made by a human account holder through the software interface and is based on own knowledge of the game. WPN will take every step to determine if any user is receiving assistance during their decision-making process through prohibited tools or other actions that violate the present Security and Game Integrity policy.
